Would someone be kind enough to re-post the information regarding the upcoming convention? (date, time, cost, etc.)
Thank you.

I believe it is the All-con convention that you are talking about? All-Con is March 16-18, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza in Addison, Texas (near the Dallas Galleria). Crowne Plaza North Dallas 14315 Midway Road Addison, Texas 75001 972-980-8877 This is what I have found from the website: www.all-con.orgVic (or vaughnbear), would you mind walking us through a crash course on what we need to know if we are planning on attending? Parking info., best place to eat, etc. I've never been, so any information would be most helpful. Thanks again. Kate Update: Vic, I noticed it is being held in Addison, so to request a restaurant recommendation is rather silly. Nevertheless, please feel free to share if you have a favorite. Also, would it not be a good idea to add the convention/alias marathon info to the alias connection home page? Hopefully, it would encourage others to attend.

Sorry - I failed to add the info on the Alias site although I had it on the LOST site. It will be this weekend at the Plano Centre, which is on Spring Valley I believe off of Central. Admission is $10 or to get a VIP pass that gets you in autograph lines faster (they get LOOONG) I think it is $50. Maggie will be there Saturday and Amy will be there Sunday. Maggie is $25 and Amy is $25 also or $40 for two autographs. The website with info is www.scifiexpo.comHope this helps, email me with questions - aliasdfw@sbcglobal.net Vic

Sorry I failed to mention the Marathon thing is a separate deal. In fact, I didnt realize he had announced anything, we had discussed it but not an announcement yet.
Anyway, the info on the Marathon is correct, more on that soon.

Vic, Thanks for the clarification. I was obviously more than a little confused. ;D Oh, well. I will be working over the weekend, and will not be able to attend since I cannot get time off on such short notice. I hope you guys have a great time though -it looks like a really good convention. Since Plano is closer to my corner of the neighborhood let me help if I may. The Plano Centre on the south side of Spring Creek just east of 75 Central Expressway. The physical address is: 200 East Spring Creek Pkwy. Plano, TX 75074 Directions from their website: www.plano.gov/Departments/PlanoCentre/Directions/Not far from the Centre on the north side of Spring Creek is a brand new Starbucks(with a drive thru), and a Capital One Bank (which is open 7 days a week.) Have a great time guys!

I have to admit I REALLY liked Maggie Grace but Amy Acker was not very talkative. I was the only one there with her at the time and she just looked up at me *waiting for me to talk* no "HI" no nothing. So I just said my name and she signed the picture to me with a heart sign then Amy Acker.
Maybe if I'd had more time things would have been different. But I've got a great story about Maggie Grace I'll tell ya over on the Lost Message Board.
Over all the Star Wars guys were the best....Daniel Logan "Young Bobo Fett" gave my nephew his autograph for free just because he had on his Darth costume and Daniel thought that was "COOL". He was really cute... and I think Jake Lloyd was basically still asleep, but he was really nice to take pictures with my nephew too.
Over all the convention was great....... ;D

Unfortunately I did not get to go. As editor of the publication I work for I had a deadline looming and I had to work. Eddie my brother went instead and picked up my autos, so that was cool. It was also homecoming weekend at the school so Lena and Chris were all tied up with that.
Speaking of autographs, I have been speaking with a guy who has contacts with some high level celebs,as he does signings with them. Through him, we should be able to get everyone some very cool Alias and Lost autographs at some great prices. I know they got Amy Acker to sign some Alias photos they had, not the ones she had, which I was told werent really that great for autographs (too busy). I got a standard portrait signed. I'll see if I can get pics of them and a price for anyone interested.

It sounds like she is a little reserved or shy? Well, I'm still jealous. Aside from Alias, I also watched Amy on the WB series Angel, so I was excited to hear that she was in North Texas. Thanks for sharing your experience. Kate
