OK, show of hands who thought the old man in jail was going to be Rambaldi? *vaughnbear raises hand*... Some people I work with thought Vaughn should have had more emotion when he saw the picture of Isabelle, but I thought is was great. Also, the end was great with all 3 together at the end. Loved Vaughn's reaction to the snoring... and OMG how cute was it to hear Jack say the word GIGGLE.... and his granddaughter thinks he's funny. 10 on the Jack is GREAT factor. Not sure if Sloane really knew all the time it was really Sydney or not....or when she said I'M NOT DEAD YET....is that when he knew, and why wouldn't she have had a new cell phone # by then? So we still don't know who the Cardinal is only Tom's wife was killed by mistake, kinda like "Lethal Weapon"? DUH..... I just so love Marshall too. "By the way I cried at your funeral". and last week "I KNEW IT, I KNEW HE WASN'T DEAD"...(that came from the writers just for the fans...both statements) Don't you think? Mr. SARK, the "BEAUTIFUL MAN" couldn't agree more..... Guess alot of small details are falling by the wayside. But I'm gonna really miss this show when it's gone. Only 2 hours left, I've taken off from work that night and most likely will end up in the fetal postion crying my eyes out. Will be thinking about you all. vaughnbear

So many good points on the show last night, but there was one thing that kept making me think Sydney was going to get caught as an imposter. I didn't hear that funky accent that Ana had. Hated that accent, otherwise, all good- or great...

Yep. I thought, "If anyone can be Rambaldi, this guy can." Very spooky fellow. So.....who told him to wait there? And how long has he been hanging out? He looked very familiar. Was he in another episode before this?
Vaughn and Emotions. People just don't understand this spy business. You can't afford to be all gushy-like all the time. Over the years you learn to turn down the volume on your emotions so you can think and act clearly in the field. Occupational hazard. Then you save it up and use it when you need to do something heinous.....like breaking a guy's hand in a vice, then pulling the trigger when your gun barrel is next to his head. Or killing someone with your bare hands so that you can revive them with electric paddles.....just to prove a point.
I think Sloane suspected something was off (might not have been sure what) when 'Anna' said she no longer had an obsession with Rambaldi, but he did not want to call attention to the problem until they had gotten whatever was mentioned on page 47.
Marshall and Jack. I love the writers for continuing to make me smile with their verbal antics. Victor G's deadpan delivery of the 'She thinks I'm funny' line just added to it. Marshall's endearing penchant for being so open about his thoughts and feelings just cracks me up. NO ONE could ever have pulled off this charcater like Kevin W.
Chuckled over the "Beautiful man" bit, too. David A was terrific in this episode. Sark is a strong enough character to carry his own show, IMHO.
I am having a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that next Wednesday is it. Fin. Finite. No mas. No more speculating on this plot point or that mystery. No more protests about why this charcater was killed off, or if and when Lena will be back. The band is breaking up! [sniff] But I console myself, knowing that this kind of serialized show will end best when it is allowed to say what it wants to say. Got to run and stock up on tissues for next week.

OY! Thanks for catching that before someone reads it and thinks it is on Wednesday. I knew about Monday, of course, but have gotten so used to writing 'Wednesday' when talking about this show. Brain-glitch. Mea culpe.
