What a great couple of episodes. Alias has tended to suffer from let downs during season premieres, and face it, this is a season premiere. However, the episodes were highly entertaining, smart, and got the series back on track.
What did you all think?

I was all smiles last night. It was like the old days of edge-of-your-seat action, complex charaterization, and fun. Marshall's "I forgot to push 'Enter'." OMG. Classic. ;D Jennifer was terrific as always, and really pulled off the delivery scene. The supporting cast was at the top of their game. [My only gripe about the writing: if they were so worried about Syd being in danger, why did Dixon not go into her house with her, to make sure all was clear and secure...and then stay with her? Did I miss something that would have explained that? I thought it was too convenient to have it otherwise so the meeting with SpyMomsky could come off the way it did.] I got sidetracked from the love.... SpyGrands. Awesome. The scene in the safe deposit vault was electric. Victor Garber and Lena Olin play the characters so well; in their eyes you can almost see the backstory between their two characters playing out. And the last scene, in a land far far away, when the birth announcement is delivered. I know one lady in Texas who was screaming. I'm pretty sure I could hear it from my house. This morning, upon reflection, I got kinda depressed. It is a shame that Alias only has a handful of shows left. Last night showed the heights it is capable of. The writing was on, the acting was suberb, the direction engaging. But we all know this show has never gotten a fair shake, and that's a travesty. But enough pathos. I am going to thoroughly enjoy these next few weeks. Alias does, indeed, look like it is going out with a bang. And I am going to be there every step of the way.

YES THE SCREAM YOU HEARD FROM THE STATE OF TEXAS WAS MINE.... Actually is was a scream then an "I TOLD YOU".. Loved the Rachel running into the door, almost fell off the couch laughing so hard. ;D Loved that "SPYGRANDPA AND SPYGRANDMA" delivered the baby. I actually was crying thru that scene. The whole 1 hour and 22 minutes was FANTASTIC. (I taped it without commercials. That helicopter scene was great, I just sat there and actually said "COOL". Questions: So Devlin knew Jack was in Black Ops? Still wonder if Irina is good or bad? Thomas/Peter Grace and Cardinal? Truth Takes Time?

All I can offer, vaughnbear (or 'K' if I can be so forward), is that---since Devlin is one of the top 7 in the entire CIA---he may have been only one of maybe 10 people (back to Angela Bassett days) to know about APO.....and therefore would have known about Jack. As for the other Qs: Irina came off badly, but this is Alias; I'd like to know myself about Mr. Grace; hope truth does not take more time than Alias has left.
